Friend from Michigan, urr... I mean childhood
This weekend we had a special guest... Melinda & Frank Kim from Michigan. I've known Melinda practically her whole life. We used to go to same church... LA Central Korean SDA back in the 70's. She was just a little girl, but our family got to know their family quiet well... especially since they also moved to Olympic Church as it began.
The last time I've seen Melinda was several years ago... she was a single college grad, looking for Mr. Right. Well, I met him this weekend. We had a lot of catching up to do. It was a pleasant surprise to find out that Melinda knew Lisa & Tayler very well. So we went out to dinner together... all four couples + few baggages (my 3 kids & friend, and Lisa's Baby... our oldest, Chris, missed it)!

Overall we had a wonderful time... lots of laughters... and ate TONS of food; 9 orders of Kalbi and 5 Bibimbop to be exact. I hear a rumor that Melinda & Frank might be moving out West... we'll just have to wait and see. We certainly hope they will join us soon!

Ha! I'm first to leave comment too! We had lots of fun at dinner. Thanks for including us and thank you so much for the grub. It was way to generous especially after seeing the damage we did (really 9 kalbi and 5 bimimbaps?), boy we sure are pigs!
Yes, we are pigs... however, we had 8 adults & 4 kids with us! Food was good, and we were hungry!
i guess i forgot to leave a comment... Thanks for the yummy kalbi. did u see what was left of the ribs??? let me just say, dave had some trauma to his teeth...
yeah...i don't think you guys ate as much as we did. pastor joel may have eaten as much as you guys did by himself. it was pretty crazy and I think the waitress was getting annoyed with us. in any case, i'm sorry i missed the thanksgiving dinner...i was working late but LUCKILY, the neighbor invited me over and we ate some good food.
grace, i just went to see your cousin catherine here in chandler... they have a nice dental office... unfortunately, i didn't bring them much business because my hubby and i didn't have a single cavity :)... she's really nice...
